“Of course you can’t,” he chuckled, which faded into a loud approving purr.

She sighed, putting her hands in front of her.

“Now I can rest easy, knowing that my mentor, though a cynic and as cryptic as the crypt itself, has returned to Wonderland and finally to me…”

The Cat padded over to her and rubbed his head against her hip, “I’m glad you think so fondly of me, and yet use such a brilliant array of adjectives to describe me…” A low chuckle came from him as he curved and let his head nudge against the other side of her.

She sighed, slowly coming out of Hysteria. She wiped her eyes and smiled to him.

He gave a full grin, and stood. “And I you, you disquisitive dame…”
